This is actually a very well known trick that many speedrunners use later in the game (particularly chimp caverns). Still, nice tutorial video!

I know, I watch dkc speedruns. I know it is well known, just making sure all the bases are covered and everyone here knows about this as I AM new to the forum.

It's great to have a tutorial video outlining the process clearly, so thanks for sharing. I've yet to try my first SJR, but now I'm encouraged to give it a go.
