Just asking, to break the boriness. My favourite is Diddy Kong. I still use him in Mario Strikers, Smash Bros. and Mario Kart. I know some Dixie fans and Kiddy fans, but I never saw a DK (as a character) fan...

Donkey Kong is actually my favorite. Mostly he isnt anyone's favorite because you dont see a lot of him as a character in DKC (He was only playable in DKC 1, and virtually disappeared until the end of every other game).

Guess it'd have to be Dixie. She's just too cute.

Donkey himself's a close second.

Diddy Kong is my favorite.

Basically said the same thing in another topic but Dixie. Both her and Diddy are very similar but Diddy went on to appear in more games then she did. Thus, I feel she got jipped.

Close second would be Funky you just can't beat that personality.

EDIT: And I actually know some fans of Donkey Kong as a character, myself being one of them.

When I was a kid. Funky Kong was the bomb. By far my favourite kong... but as I havn't been exposed to him very much compared to DK and diddy. I'd say, DK, diddy, and then Funky. And then Cranky.

At first, DK was my absolute fave. As the years grew, I became less and less interested in him. I still like him as a fave but now I seem to like Cranky and Wrinkly more. Dunno why. Oh, and Karate too. I guess that explains my CrankyxWrinkly/KaratexWrinkly fettish...

Diddy. Always has been. Seems to me that whenever DK appears somewhere outside his own games (say, Mario sports games), he's always portrayed as a sluggish brute, but when Diddy's with him, he immediately reverts back to his DKC self. That's cool.

I quite like Dixie too; she and Diddy together as a couple are just adorable. Not to mention she's just plain awesome. I mean, she's possibly even more adventurous than Diddy - that's probably why I get so pissed whenever Nintendo depicts her as a Princess Peach clone, getting kidnapped 24/7. Ugh!

Those two are my top favorites, but I also like Kiddy, Lanky, and Cranky.

I like both Diddy and Dixie, but my favourite of them all has to be...

CRANKY!

DIxie and Tiny are awesome! Diddy's a close third though

Kiddy, but probably partly because I see so many people hating him.

Second would be DK, since the whole series is named after him.
