Hi, I'm loftyD. I love Donkey Kong Country 2, best game ever. I have made 3 remixes:

I loved that one! Do you have an MP3 I can download? The Hot Head Hop had a graffiti kind of a feel to it.

Anyway, my favorite remix is Hot-Head Hop's. Altough I didn't like you used a previous sound from the Kannon's Klaims one =P

I forget how I got it (probably recorded it off of YouTube) but I really liked the 2nd Kannon's Klaim one - in fact, it's been part of my iTunes for months!

Thanks for sharing these! It's great to hear variations on familiar and much loved DKC2 tracks. Are these mixes 'complete', or are they works in progress? There are some good ideas in there, but they feel more like demos than finished tracks.

Um, I plan to do a Brambles Remix and possibly a Skidda's Row music, I can play Skidda's Row Music on Piano

Hey, that's great. We can turn this into a project thread whenever your remix count starts to grow... I'll link to it from this board, too, so the DKC2 fans can find your remixes even if they wouldn't have browsed the project boards. This sounds like a good move to me, especially if you decide to remix DKC3 music (like the Skidda's Row theme - Frosty Frolics). I look forward to your Bramble mix, too.

By the way, have you listened to Donkey Business by Norwegian Recycling? If not, check out our forum thread for the low-down. Seems like an album you'd enjoy...

oh sorry I haven't been here at all for the last few months, life's been really busy. Thanks for the comments people. I think I'll be doing another remix but I don't know what heh. I'll keep you all informed tho, don't worry.
