We all know DKC3 got it's mecha theme following the pirate theme from DKC2 but aliens?! ALIENS?! He seems to be embedded in the wall with no torso or even appendages. Was he spawned in a land before time or something? What wrath can he bring if he's stuck behind a waterfall only accomplishing erosion? I dunno, share your thoughts on an alien in DKC. Did the alien aspect occur to you at the beginning?

I don't think he's an alien, but he certainly isn't a natural creature.

I think he's more of a mystical creature: the guardian of the waterfalls. I think his origin has to do with him being created to protect the land from industrial intruders long ago. Now that the Kremlings have started polluting the Northern "Krem"isphere, Squirt, the magical-floating-snail-head-thingy, has returned to protect his keep of the land.

By the way, I'm not a "green freak". I don't believe in all that "if you don't go green, you'll destroy the Earth!" stuff, it's just my interpretation of Squirt's reflection on the game's theme.

I always thought he was a crab.

He looks like some HUGE tree slug to me and the waterfall I guess is a waterfall. I can see the alien part you're talking about though, he is one creepy looking boss if you ask me. A crab, I don't see it but kinda funny to say because everyone has different views of stuff I guess.

I say he's the long lost cousin of Sandalphon, just look at Squirt and then Sandalphon!


Giant water-like thing? Strange eyes? Sandalphon resides in volcano, while Jophiel (That's how i call Squirt) resides in waterfall.

Well, i've got to admit there is not a lot resemblance, It's just those antler things...

Overall, Squirt is probably just an Eldritch Abomination like Krocktopus. Or one of K. Rool's experiments like that other thread said.

Squirt always seemed an exception to that notion. To me it's the boss that represents nature, and mystery. Where Belcha, Bleak,
KAOS are the experiments.

He can also be just an expierement on a tree, but he is definetly not an alien so it sums up that for sure.
