Okay, so I totally just made a real-life Dixie Kong on photoshop. It's not perfect just yet, so I'm not going to post it right now. But it is coming soon. I just have to add a few finishing touches to make it look better. I'm also working on a real-life Diddy Kong, but I'm having a harder time.

Real-life Dixie Kong, now that sounds interesting. I'd like to see that.

and concerning my fan fiction - well, still haven't posted it anywhere. Beeeecause it was still a rough draft mostly. And it got a rather... dark part of which I'm not so sure how DKC fans will take. Heh! Just sayin' - I always thought Diddy was orphaned at a VERY early age when his parents got murdered by Kremlings, to which DK raised him and pretended to be his uncle. I mean c'mon, Diddy is like the only one in the Kong family who has a tail!

...Yeah, I add drama to freakin' everything. That's just me. Sorry about that.

Yeah... that's supposed to be Fox. I only ever played Star Fox Adventures and the Smash Bros games, so I had to guess on his design.

But Diddy is cute, right? With his little peanut popgun and all. :lol:

Ribbedebie, your artworks are wonderful! Because I like them so much, I've decided to adjust the image size limits here. Now you can post them without having to link or resize them. The new image width limit is 1600 pixels... should be enough for most artworks. Anything larger will have to be linked/resized, or uploaded as an attachment (which generates a thumbnail link).

Thanks for sharing your masterpieces!

Would you consider allowing me to host your work on DKC Atlas, when I introduce the DKC art gallery?

well, i tried to make a dragon in model 3D, but i did make only the head , perhaps this is the only thing than i can make.
but i will try to make the head of king k.rool. (smiles), but i know than i can make it or better. i have a big hability to make it, i believe in my self. for it i will find the twitter of carlos Saldanha the creator of ice age movie, for talk of modelers 3D...

Yeah, I think it's the face. And also, the hands are perhaps a bit too pale. But still, it looks really good. 8D

Poor grammar aside, I agree with 7S7ui3's above post; your depiction of DK is awesome. The linework on the characters is great, but I think the piece deserves a bit more attention to colour and texture... it's not bad, but it could be an AMAZING piece of art with a bit more lovin'. Always great to see your stuff, Ribbe!

I think that I fixed it. Let me know if there's anything else to fix. It's kind of a b...*bleep*...ch to make the face look okay, because the original gibbon's face is to hard to make light. And the eyes are human eyes. Don't be afraid to be harsh.

I also have a new one that I'm working on. I'm really having a difficult time with it because of how the Gibbons are positioned and trying to find fitting clothing. If you guys have any suggestions, please, PLEASE let me know!

If he hadn't been such an a-hole in the TV show, I be throwing leaves at the bird. Don't get me wrong, I think Reaver's a cool bird but Bluster somewhat doesn't deserve it.

Okay, so I'm working on a character in photoshop, but this time I'm not making it real-life. I don't know who the hell the character is, but I found a really cool way to make fur :D It shall be uploaded when it's finished... which may be a while... I don't know what the background should be.

Okay, so in my one post I said about making my own Kong. I finished it... kinda. I had no idea what to do as the background, so here's what I came up with. Personally, I hate the background, I just drew a blank so I made it fall... I can always change it to something completely different. Please let me know what you think. And I don't have a name for her, so if you think of something, please let me know.

Hiya, Katzii! *wave* I didn't know you were here too. I always like your art, you have such a cute style.

Phyreburnz, I love how you did the shading on the fur for your Kong character. It looks really cool

And I like that little "Rawr!" pic too, Chibisai. I don't see many people drawing Cranky and Wrinkly as a couple. Same for humanized. Looks good, though!

Art-wise, I've been quite occupied with my graphic novel (actually, it's just a comic, but referring to it as a graphic novel makes me sound like a professional) so I haven't drawn many individual DKC-related arts. However, I've been more fangirling over the bad guys now that I've seen more of the TV show... call me weird but yeah.

(K. Rool is obsessed with comics in my comic. Comic in a comic. You heard that right.)

And I know this is not really DKC, but I'm pretty proud of it. Real paintings of Banjo and Kazooie, and Conker!

Your paintings are really great! I've never been able to use paint as a medium very well (more of a "dry" media person, myself), but it's always nice to see some good painting going on.
